What is Dreamer of Worlds?

This is the first post for my blog, "Dreamer of Worlds." This blog will chronicle my journey as I study the art of game design and development.

I am a student at Baker College in Michigan. Baker is the state's largest private college. I am a BCS candidate with a concentration in Game Software Development. I am in my junior year as of this post. I have 100 credit hours completed of the 181 credit hour program with a cumulative GPA of 3.96 on a 4.0 scale.

I've found college to be a challenge. I juggle my classwork with a full time job at North American Bancard and with my two-month old daughter Amelia. I've learned a lot during these past two years, both in and out of the classroom. I hope that I am honing my time management skills to an extent where they will be useful outside of school.

This blog is meant to be an outlet for my thoughts on game design and game development as well as a platform to show off some of my work as I progress through the last two years of my undergraduate degree.
